Howard Meltzer has been casting in Los Angeles since 2002. Originally from New York City, he was a staff Casting Director at Stuart Howard Associates casting for Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional theater.
He has cast for CBS, Disney Channel, Fox, HBO Max, NBC, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Peacock, Sony Pictures Television Studios, 20th Century Fox, and Warner Brothers Television.
BEFORE…
A choice of scenes from Howard’s past projects are sent prior to the session
Prep your chosen scene as you would for a real audition
Arrive to the session 5 minutes prior to start time and be ready to take lots of notes!
DURING…
Class Starts- with an in depth and interactive seminar between Howard and the Actors discussing:
What actors can expect working in a post pandemic’ industry,
How to perform and prepare high a high level of work
Understanding the differences of a single-cam comedy, multi-cam comedy, drama, or film audition.
